DANIEL RIOS - FOUNDER
THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND.
Daniel Rios is the face of UmpSmart and the brains behind this beautiful organization. What started as a Tictok video that went viral. Has turned into to a business bringing the art of the game to the players and coaches through the eyes of an umpire.
Daniel, as a leader, coach, mentor and friend is now bringing his rules expertise as an active umpire to add coaching to his never ending resume.
Daniel is a Division 1 and Division 2 umpire for multiple organizations across the nation. He has 8 National Championship rings (5 NJCAA and 3 NAIA). Daniel has also held several positions including instructor, mentor, rules expert, umpire and ran the ejection review panel.
Not only has Daniels passion for coaching the next generation of umpires it has transformed into creating an experience to bridge the gap between players, coaches, parents and umpires through learning the rules to the game of baseball.
Whether on the field, in a classroom or online, UmpSmart is the go to place for all things rules.
Michael Grishman - Founder & Coach
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Michael is a Division 1, Division 2, Division 3 and NAIA umpire for multiple organizations across the country for more than 30 yrs. He has served on 3 national championships (3 NJCAA) as well as conference and regional tournaments.

Ten years of baseball umpiring experience
Baseball Umpire 1 and 2 Certification (Ump-App)
Level 1 High School baseball umpire with multiple playoff appearances
NJCAA/NAIA/NCAA collegiate level umpiring experience, on staff for multiple conferences in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma
Staff Instructor for Spring Klein Umpire Association and other local clinics
